Meet Dr. Edwards
Dr. Jessica Edwards is a distinguished, 2nd Generation Osteopathic physician and health equity advocate with a rich educational background and extensive experience in family medicine, leadership, and health policy. Currently, an Executive MBA candidate at the Quantic School of Business and Technology, Dr. Edwards anticipates completing her degree in March 2025. Her educational journey includes a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from UNT Health Science Center-Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine (2014) and she completed a Family Medicine Residency at Care Point Health, Christ Hospital (2014-2017) and various fellowships focused on maternal and child health, health policy, and climate health equity.
She has a plethora of knowledge when it comes to clinical operations and she has helped multiple healthcare startups in both a leadership and consultant capacities and has contributed to numerous advocacy and health policy initiatives, emphasizing minority health outcomes and healthcare access.

Dr. Edwards is an active member of several professional organizations and has been recognized with numerous awards, including but not limited to the American Osteopathic Foundation Family Medicine Resident of the Year (2016) and Texas Super Doctors Rising Star (2022). She is also an Adjunct Professor at UNTHSC-TCOM since 2019.

In her free time, she likes to spend time with her husband and 2 children.
